This could be the only time we see DANA performing an acoustic version of her signature tune, played here for the students of Thornhill College, a Roman Catholic grammar school for girls run by the Sisters of Mercy (hit TV series Derry Girls is based on the school). As Rosemary Brown she joined Thornhill in 1963 when living on the Creggan housing estate, and left in 1970 as a Bogside resident.
Having such a beautiful voice she missed a trick by not making an acoustic album to highlight it, unless you include the album Dana's Ireland from 1991. Lots of Irish melodies with soft Irish music backing her soft Irish voice. A Dana's Ireland DVD (with a bonus CD) was later released in 2013. It wouldn't hurt to upload a video from that (FoD#85) to promote it as it's still on sale and worth every penny.
