US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has announced that the United States is reversing its position on Israeli settlements in the Occupied West Bank. Jewish settlements on occupied Palestinian land have been deemed illegal under international law, a view supported by past US administrations. But Pompeo now says the US view of settlement activities, has been inconsistent for decades.
