On 14th December 2024 SteamRanger Heritage Railway transferred their Alco Locomotive 844 & Steam Locomotive Rx224 together with Vintage Carriages to Goolwa ready for the 2024/2025 Christmas/New Year/School Holiday's Cockle Train Service.

SteamRanger have their RedHens doing a 'Southern Lights Special' Goolwa to Victor Harbor and return 14th Dec, 20th Dec, 21st Dec, 22nd Dec & 23rd Dec 8pm-10.30pm You might even see Santa!

The Cockle Train will be a very popular hit with families travelling from Goolwa to Victor harbor and return-check their facebook page for times/ dates/locos.

New Years Eve the Redhen railcars will again be in action departing 7.30pm from Goolwa to Victor Harbor. Ring in the New Year with a ride on a Heritage Railcar!
