Alsancak is a neighborhood in the Konak district in Izmir, Turkey. The neighborhood borders to the north the mouth of the Bornova, to the west the neighborhood of Çankaya, to the east the Kordon area, and to the south the Meles neighborhood. It hosts the Alsancak railway station, a historic long-distance passenger train service in Turkey.
The neighborhood consists mostly of commercial and tourist-oriented shops. Many popular small shops, restaurants, discos, bars, pubs, boutique hotels, traditional Turkish restaurants, Turkish and foreign-language bookstores, and tourist offices.
