Summer is here, and it's time to hit the shooting range and send some lead through targets! Aside from your gun(s) and ammo, you'll need to bring some other things. The best way to lug them to the range is in a range bag. Brownells Gun Tech™ Caleb Savant gives us his list of items a properly equipped range bag should contain:
1. Gun oil (Caleb's favorite: Rand CLP)
2. Basic gun cleaning kit ("Having it and not needing it is better than needing it and not having it.")
3. Cleaning rod
4. Squib rod
5. Brass / nylon head hammer
6. Screwdriver (Caleb's pick: a Brownells Magna-Tip® set)
7. Allen wrench set
8. Hearing protectors
9. Eye protection
10. Lens wipes for optics & shooting glasses
11. Magazine loader (for example, the Maglula UpLULA®)
12. Magazines
13. Ammo
14. Anything else you may need for your specific guns/shooting activities
15. Don't forget the guns!
