The job of working as a police officer should never be your life. It can be really exciting when you're new to it and you can get so involved, that a few years down the road you might realize you've missed out on life or the lives of others all because your identity got wrapped up in law enforcement. It's a bad mistake, and I did that when I worked as a K9 Officer. I was crushed when I had to resign because I thought it was who I was.
