Welcome to "Women of Colour in Cycling" - Session 6 of Switching Gears Festival.
Our role models give us inspiration, leadership, a path to follow to help us believe we can do anything. But where are our women of colour role models in cycling? Why has their voice in cycling been absent for so long? In this interactive session, Aneela McKenna from Mòr Diversity and MTB Guide/Coach talks about her own personal experiences as a woman of colour in cycling. She’ll be discussing barriers to participation and how we can build our future role models to inspire women from all diverse backgrounds to pursue a passion for cycling.
