Alaska is beautiful, but at what cost? We moved to Alaska 09/11/2018 because God told me to. Now after living here for 3 years, getting married, and growing in my walk with Christ, it's time to move on and God is allowing it. Year one and two were great, I only seen the beauty of Alaska but now married and with another year under my belt, I can't see that beauty anymore. Yes, it's gorgeous as in the landscape and people but the cost of living is more, there's to much darkness and depression in the winter, very cold, and having to dig your frozen car out and warming it up before you can drive it sucks. The roads are bad with tire ruts and lots of cracked roads to deal with makes just driving a hassle. UGH gotta put the Harley in a heated storage for the winter, can't ride is enough to make a guy leave state.
