The Joint Committees of the Senate and House of Representatives will on the 7th of January 2025 begin meeting with heads of Federal Ministries Department and Agencies of Government for their budget Defence.
The Senate’s Spokesperson, Yemi Adaramodu who spoke to Journalists in Abuja, explains that the Presentation of the Report by the appropriations Committee which will consist of compilations and recommendations from subcommittees will be presented on the 31st of January 2025.
President Tinubu had on the 18th of December Presented the 2025 appropriation Bill before a Joint session of the National Assembly, the bill had also scaled second reading in both chambers of the National Assembly after an extensive debate.
Both Chambers of the National Assembly are currently on recess to celebrate Christmas and new year and are expected to officially resume plenary on the 14th of January 2025
