South Africa has taken over the chairmanship of the Indian Ocean Rim Association Council - IORA. The council's prime focus is to ensure economic development for the 21 member countries bordering the Indian ocean. South Africa is hosting the 17th Indian Ocean Rim Association Council of Ministers' Meetings this week in Durban.
