Our first national park hike after they reopened in June 2020.
We have been stuck at home for months! And now that the national parks have finally opened, we are spending my 5-week break from OT school participating in our meaningful occupations, mostly outdoors. :)
2 weeks ago, we hiked Echo Mountain in Altadena, CA. It's our go to hiking spot, next to Eaton Canyon Falls, which was unfortunately closed back because people trashed it as soon as it reopened. SMH!
Last week, I purchased our very first America The Beautiful National Parks Annual Pass. The first spot we hit was Joshua Tree National Parks, and on day 1, we hiked the Ryan Mountain Trail.
Ryan Mountain is A 3 mile round-trip trail (moderate strenuous) to the 5,458 foot summit, has look out points with views of Queen, Lost Horse, and Pleasant valleys
