*About Jacobo Grinberg*

Jacobo Grinberg Zylberbaum (1946 – disappeared 1994) was a renowned Mexican psychologist, neuroscientist, and author. His work primarily focused on consciousness, perception, and the intersection of science with mystical traditions, particularly shamanism. Grinberg sought to bridge scientific inquiry with spiritual and metaphysical understanding, creating a unique and influential body of work.

*Early Life and Education*

Grinberg was born in Mexico City and showed an early interest in the mind and human consciousness. He studied psychology at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and later pursued further studies at the University of New York, where he specialized in psychophysiology.

*Career and Research*

Grinberg authored over 50 books exploring consciousness, perception, and the relationship between the brain and reality. His studies drew from quantum mechanics, neuroscience, and indigenous knowledge systems. He was particularly inspired by Mexican shamanistic practices and worked closely with shamans, including María Sabina, a famous Mazatec curandera. One of his most notable theories was the "Syntergic Theory", which proposed that consciousness is a field that interacts with neural activity to shape perception and reality. According to Grinberg, this interaction could explain phenomena like telepathy, clairvoyance, and other altered states of consciousness. He believed that reality is co-created by the observer and a universal energetic field.

*Disappearance*

In December 1994, at the age of 47, Jacobo Grinberg mysteriously disappeared. He was last seen at his home in Mexico City, and his case remains unsolved. His disappearance has fueled numerous conspiracy theories, ranging from governmental abduction to metaphysical explanations tied to his research. Some speculate his work threatened powerful interests or delved into areas deemed too controversial.

Grinberg's work continues to inspire researchers and spiritual seekers worldwide. His interdisciplinary approach and openness to exploring unconventional ideas have left a lasting mark on the fields of psychology, neuroscience, and mysticism.
