As part of the announcement unveiling the North Carolina Moonshine & Motorsports Trail at Rockingham Speedway, NASCAR Champion and Hall of Famer Rusty Wallace was in attendance. Wallace talked about winning at 'The Rock' five times, including one time where he passed Dale Earnhardt in the race and had a funny altercation with an Intimidator fan.
Rockingham Speedway anticipates a return for racing, as they aspire to attract grassroots series and NASCAR back to the historic one-mile oval.
