Are you actually training hard enough to build muscle?
Before you even think about whether or not you're training enough days or doing enough sets, training intensity with good technique and form is way more important when it comes to building muscle.
For hypertrophy, you should be training to failure, or as close to failure as possible. Of course, always make sure you're doing it safely and maintaining your form.
I personally can't push to true failure because I don't have the mental ability to do so. Instead, what I like to do is rate my sets using an RPE (Rating of Perceived Exertion) scale.
I always try to aim for an RPE of 8-9, which means I would have 1 or 2 more reps in the tank, and which is generally when I tend to bitch out 😂
Just remember, as long as you're training as hard as possible and making sure you're able to progressively overload every each, then that's what really matters the most!
