Lately, there have been rumors about compact cassette comeback. This is nonsense. Cassettes are as dead now as they were twenty years ago, the only value they have is nostalgic. Compact discs, on the other hand, are alive and well. Stores still sell CDs, devices to play them are easily available, and the audio quality is still the best for a mass-market product.
