Neet 2019 All India Quota second round counselling has started. Nearly 80% seats remain vacant in government colleges for All India Quota counselling. Most of the students who got seat in Ist round counselling vacated their seats because they would have got AIIMS or better college through state quota.

MCC released seat matrix before the neet 2019 second round counselling. For general category, few mbbs seats are empty in almost every medical college. Good news is that 7 new medical colleges are added for the 2nd round counselling.
In General category, close to 3000 mbbs seats are available for students to choose.
When we combine all reservation categories, there are 4050 mbbs seats available.
Out of the 3524 general category mbbs seats available for round1, 2951 seats were vacated. only 16% of the seats are filled during the round1 all india quota counselling.
Comparing how much all india cut off increased during last year will help us to predict this year cut off increase during 2nd round counselling.
when we compare the Round 2 AIR cut off of 2018 with Round 1 cut off , there is 20% cut off increase.

Many students who have chance to get mbbs seat in state quota will not participate in 2nd round all india quota counselling, because if they are allotted seat, they have to let go the security deposit amount.

Based on the facts mentioned before, I predict neet 2019 all india quota round 2 counselling cut off to be around 16000 all india rank. If your AIR is less than 16000 and you belong to unreserved category or your neet score is above 571, then you have chance to get in the second round all india counselling. For SC it is expected to be below 90000 and For ST it should be below 1 lakh 20 thousand.
