Building trust is a big part of the journey for many people overcoming dental anxiety. Often bad previous experiences make this particularly challenging. Trust isn’t something that should be assumed by a dental team or should it be expected to happen automatically. It has to be earned and it can take time. That is OK. In this video I briefly talk about this, and about the use of ‘stop signals’ as part of rebuilding trust.
