VIDEO INTRODUCTION:
In the 1950s, right after its independence, Bangladesh was one of the poorest countries in the world, and from our previous video you already know that in the past 50 years, Bangladesh has gone from being a poverty infected country with an 80% poverty rate to becoming one of the fastest-growing nations with a GDP of 400 billion dollars and a poverty rate of less than 12%. and one of the most important reasons for this growth is the textile revolution of Bangladesh because of which Bangladesh went from being a no-one to becoming the second-largest ready-made Garment exporter in the world!! In fact, from 2011 to 2019, Bangladesh's textile export has more than doubled, from $14.6 billion in 2011 to $33.1 billion in 2019 and even in 2020, they exported 28 billion dollars worth of Garments!! All of this happened because of the extraordinary policies implemented by the govt of Bangladesh!!
So the question is, what were these policies?
How did they turn Bangladesh into the second largest exporter of Ready Made Garments?
and most importantly, what are the study materials for the incredible rise of Bangladesh?
