Forty never looked so good! You could celebrate the 40th anniversary of Just For Laughs MONTRÉAL with an all-star Gala featuring special surprise guests that will include festival favourties from throughout our history.
From July 13 to 31, the Juste pour rire Festival gets Montréal guffawing with its many shows and galas, theatre shows, musical comedies and stand-up comics. It’s a gathering not to be missed for comedians and comedy-lovers alike!
Montréal’s Just for Laughs Festival presents hundreds of free outdoor activities alongside 250 shows in 25 downtown venues, including several in the halls of Place des Arts. It has become the world’s biggest comedy festival, attracting nearly two million visitors. With performances in both English and French (under Juste pour rire), it brings together some 1,700 artists from 19 countries. The festival’s goal? To make people happy!

Every summer, the big names in comedy gather in Montréal for shows and special events. Among others, the festival has welcomed Laurent Paquin, Jean-Marc Parent and André Sauvé, Katherine Levac, Jay Du Temple, Phil Laprise and many more.
