The Vox Pathfinder, unfortunately discontinued, is a really nice small, rather cheap transistor amp. It only has a 8 inch speaker but has a bigger sound. It can compete with a drummer and sounds good at bedroom level as well.

Of course the Boss Katana 50 is much more versatile than the Pathfinder, and the Harley Benton Tube15 sounds better if you want tube tone and nice breakup at low volume but if you like this tone - it´s just plug and play. No fiddling and adjusting.
