Princess Charlotte and Prince George will be "separated" once royal law takes effect
Due to a royal regulation intended to safeguard the succession, the two young royals will soon have to make separate travel arrangements. When Prince George turns twelve in July, he and Princess Charlotte will be split up. The siblings will experience a major life transition in accordance with a custom intended to protect the British monarchy. The third and fourth heirs to the throne, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, respectively, will no longer be permitted to travel together. The regulation, which takes effect when Prince George reaches twelve, forbids him from traveling in the same plane or helicopter as his sister, Princess Charlotte, or father, Prince William, unless there are special circumstances and King Charles III has given his express consent. To safeguard the royal line of succession in the case of an unplanned accident, this provision has been in place for decades.
