During the German invasion of Belgium and the Battle of France in 1940 the German armored units crossed the Ardennes and this was a key move that resulted in the Fall of France. During the Ardennes Offensive (Battle of the Bulge) the Germans attacked through the forest again, this time with less success. Why? In this video I will expore the Blitzkrieg 1940 versus the Battle of the Bulge 1944 – Crossing the Ardennes.
