Vikings star Travis Fimmel hit the GQ red carpet and caught up with our host Shaun White.

Typically a man of few words, everyone's favourite Nordic warrior Travis Fimmel stepped onto the GQ Men of the Year awards in Sydney last night, and had a bunch to say on just about every topic under the sun, from same-sex marriage to a brand new film he has in the works.

When quizzed on who he'd most like to work with with anyone in the world, he expressed that Mel Gibson would be his number 1 choice, but considering the cast of the new film he's working on, a spin on the Ned Kelly story starring the likes of Russell Crowe and fellow GQ Awards guest Dacre Montgomery his quota of Australian castmates is going to be pretty comfortably met.
