(9 Jan 2017) Snow continued to blanket Kosovo on Monday claiming the life of at least one person and disrupting travel.
An Albanian man was found dead Monday at a forest road, according to police.
The snow has also blocked rural roads and caused power cuts in many areas around the country/
Though all national roads are snow clear, police are advising drivers to avoid speeding.
Heavy snow and frigid temperatures have gripped large parts of Europe, leading to dozens of deaths, freezing rivers, the grounding of planes and traffic accidents.
