Pygmy Marmosets 'Gomez and Iti', celebrated the arrival of two of the tiniest and adorable babies you are ever likely to see.
Pygmy Marmosets, who lay claim to being the Worlds smallest monkeys, have babies who weigh in at just 15grams. Although 15grams may seem tiny, if you put into perspective it is actually relative to a human giving birth to a ten year old child...."Ouch, now that has to hurt".
Gomez and Iti were introduced as couple mid 2015, when the ultimate bachelor, Gomez, finally found his soul mate who came all the Symbio Wildlife Park, Sydney from Auckland Zoo in New Zealand.
From the outset the two were inseparable, and now they get to both be first time parents.
