Breeding boxes are key to insuring the best survival rate when breeding guppies. The way they work is the box has a divider so when the female guppy gives birth the fry fall through the tiny slats in the divider. They are in a safe part of the box where the mother, cannot get to them to eat them. They should be kept separate from the adult fish for about a month, I suggest a fry tank.
