After meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on December 22, Slovakia's Prime Minister, Robert Fico, delivered another clear warning to Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky. Ukraine is opposed to extending the gas transit deal with Russia, which is set to expire at the end of 2024. The deal allows Russian gas to flow through Ukraine and reach European nations like Slovakia. Fico had previously warned of a "serious conflict" if Zelensky does not allow the continuation of gas transit. Despite being a NATO member, Slovakia is opposed to providing military aid to Ukraine in its ongoing war. Watch the full video for more.
