Union Budget 2023 was presented in the Parliament on February 1, 2023 by the Finance Minister of India, Nirmala Sitharaman. During the Budget 2023 session, it was announced that the government would be launching the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana, PMKVY 4.0 within the next three years and under this, new skills would be promoted and made available for the youth such as AI, coding, megatronics etc.
Apart from the PMKVY 4.0, the announcement was made that within the next three years the center will recruit 38,800 teachers and support staff for the 740 Eklavya Model Residential Schools serving 3.5 Lakh tribal students and National Digital Library for Children and Adolescents.
