After traveling the east coast of Australia with my brother me and my friend Laura met in Bangkok to visit another friend of us. She lived in Pai, Thailand as a tattoo artist during that time.
We stayed in Bangkok for 2 days, took the night train to Chiang Mai, stayed there for a few days before we visited my best friend Axana in the small hippie village Pai.
We stayed there for one week and fell in love with the nature and people. For us it felt like paradise.
After 7 days we went back to Chiang Mai and visited an elephant sanctuary (it was very important for us that the sanctuary is NOT offering elephant riding - we got to feed, pet and wash them). We enjoyed our last days by meeting new people and hanging around at nightmarkets.
After two weeks we had to say goodbye to each other. Laura went to the islands for another week and I went back to Bangkok for a day before my flight back home to Germany.
