We had some weird weather back in February. It was 20℃ this particular day, so I decided to head to Lake Biwa, Japan's largest freshwater lake. I rode up through the back roads of Kameoka, through Kyoto city and into Otsu, Shiga. I only made it about a third of the way up the lake as I kept stopping off on beaches here and there.

I'll probably take the tent and camp somewhere on the north end of the lake next time.
