Why clean? If the vents are clogged, your laptop can overheat and die.
Why upgrade? For better speed and performance - it's easier than you might think.
The model in this tutorial is the Dell XPS 15 4K Touch 9550.
Dell laptops, being among the most easy laptops to upgrade, are more future-proof than most - as long as you check the specs before buying and ensure the RAM isn't soldered to the motherboard.
I find the most consistently easy laptops to upgrade are supplied by Dell and HP.
Be aware of the potential for static electricity - anti-static wristbands are cheap and advised.
