BOOKER WANTS TO LEGALIZE MARIJUANA
The arrest of a man in Linden NJ Friday set set the stage before Sen. Cory Booker's rally to legalize marijuana at the federal level. Booker introduced a bill called the Marijuana Justice Act.
NJ State Senator Nicholas Scutari has also proposed a bill to legalize marijuana in New Jersey beyond medical marijuana, which is permitted for certain conditions.
Ashley Johnson of Chasing News asked Booker whether people would be able to smoke a "doobie" in the street without getting arrested.
