On August 23, 2022, the KNN hosted the third session of its discussion series, “Human Flourishing 2030.” Throughout the series, sessions explore what it will take over the next decade to achieve a healthier future where healthcare learners, practitioners and patients are flourishing. The series examines how characteristics of communities, organizations and other settings affect those within, as well as ways to support flourishing in those surroundings.
In this session recording, you’ll hear from leaders across the Kern National Network for Caring and Character in Medicine, Oregon Health & Science University, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Nursing: moderator Kimara Ellefson, MBA; Danny O. Jacobs, MD, MPH, FACS and Linda D. Scott, PhD, RN, NEA-BC, FNAP, FAAN.
Together, they provided perspectives on ways to improve flourishing within healthcare settings, and how collaborative practice approaches can help practitioners, staff, patients and learners within care settings flourish.
