Officers from the Huduma center in Kitale partnered with provincial administration officers in the region to offer foodstuffs and other Christmas gifts to the less privileged children at Birunda rescue center.
The team led by Kimini sub-county’s deputy county commissioner Anthony Macharia and the head of the Huduma center Mr. Joash Abong’o also spend time with the children to give them a feeling of love.
The officials said they chose the center since it is home to most of the children who were rehabilitated from the streets of Kitale town where they were among the large group of street children.
