Freya the Walrus is a well-known animal celebrity around the world and in Norway. The 1,300 lb. walrus has been spotted on social media sunbathing on boats and sometimes sinking them. Crowds have gathered around the shores of England to catch a glimpse of her. But, the Norwegian Director of Fisheries euthanized Freya because despite several warnings to stay away from her, people wouldn’t keep away from the walrus.
