my first ever visit to the Mid Norfolk Railway after so many events i said to myself i will attend i finally find myself on the railway today for it's 2013 steam gala staring LMS 8P 4-6-2 no, 46233 Duchess of Sutherland on it's first visit to the railway and returning to norfolk after so long with co-star LNER B1 4-6-0 no, 61306 Mayflower making a return visit to the line. also at the gala was M7 0-4-4 no, 30053 making it's first visit to the MNR and the final visitor for the gala was MNR summer regular GWR pannier tank 0-6-0 no, 9466 running as 8443. all 4 locos saw use on the railway with the Duchess running the B&G air braked set while the others ran using the DMU as hauled stock or with the maroon MK2 set
