The Bank of America Chicago Marathon is a world class running event. The course is flat and very fast. 1.7 million people are cheering for the runners each year. This makes the Chicago Marathon so remarkable.
The weather was perfect, the atmosphere was fantastic and the support of the people helped me to finish with a new personal best (at the age of 57!): 3:17:46
This was my fourth World Marathon Major on the way to a second Sixth Star.
