Ever wonder what's happening inside your engine when your vehicle in the off-season and the engine isn’t turned over? Many think that just having a lubricant in the system is enough to keep the surfaces protected but not all lubricants are created equal. AMSOIL took Gale Banks on a tour of their lab to show him all the testing their lubricants are subjected to. In this test, metal plates were coated with oil (AMSOIL and a competitor) and sealed in a cabinet at 100% humidity for one month. The results show that the plates coated in AMSOIL fared significantly better.
