Tharaka University celebrated its 3rd graduation ceremony on Friday 6th December 2024 at the University Sports Pavilion. This year's ceremony was themed: "Scaling Heights through Innovation for Socio-economic Development". This was the first graduation that the newly inaugurated 1st Chancellor Professor Ratemo Michieka, EBS presided over.
The event saw 941 students graduate from the five Faculties: 6 Doctorate Degrees, 21 Master's and 716 Bachelors Degrees were conferred with 29 Certificates and 169 Diplomas awarded.
