Lego Indiana Jones (stylized as LEGO Indiana Jones) is a Lego theme based on the Indiana Jones film franchise, licensed from Lucasfilm. The exclusive franchise (for the 'Construction Category Rights') was first announced in June 2007, and followed the successful Lego Star Wars franchise, also with Lucasfilm. LEGO Indiana Jones covers the events of the first three films: Raiders of the Lost Ark, Temple of Doom and The Last Crusade. Although released shortly after Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, the events of that film wouldn't be included until the game's sequel: The Adventure Continues. Players join Indiana Jones and his allies by whip swinging, digging, building and sneaking through enemy bases in order to pursue a variety of mysterious and dangerous artifacts.

Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures was released on June 3, 2008, based on the original trilogy. A sequel, called Lego Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues, was released in November 2009, including scenes from the new Kingdom of the Crystal Skull film, along with a level editor feature.
