Today it's time to finally check out Godzilla Minus One! This 2023 Japanese film was written, directed, and visually crafted by Takashi Yamazaki and Toho Studios.

Set in postwar Japan, Godzilla Minus One takes place as the country struggles to recover from the devastation of World War II, only to face an even greater threat emerging from the ocean depths. The story follows Koichi, a former kamikaze pilot haunted by PTSD after a fateful encounter with Godzilla. Determined to redeem himself, he becomes central to the fight against this terrifying force.

The cast features Ryunosuke Kamiki, Minami Hamabe, Yuki Yamada, Munetaka Aoki, Hidetaka Yoshioka, Sakura Ando, and Kuranosuke Sasaki, bringing incredible depth and humanity to this high-stakes tale.
