Speaker Biography: Daughter of the best-selling author Rachel Renée Russell, Nikki Russell has been a member of the writing world for years as the namesake of the main character of the "Dork Diaries" series. For many years she has also illustrated some of the Dork Diaries books. Her most recent work, done in collaboration with her mother, is "Dork Diaries: Tales from a Not-So-Secret Crush Catastrophe" (Aladdin).
Speaker Biography: Rachel Renée Russell is an attorney who likes writing "Dork Diaries" series, which chronicles the life of Nikki Maxwell and is inspired by the middle school experiences of Russell's two daughters. Her "Dork Diaries" series has sold over 15 million copies worldwide and has been translated into 32 languages. She has written with her daughter Nikki Russell "The Misadventures of Max Crumbly 2: Middle School Mayhem." The latest in the "Dork Diaries" series is "Dork Diaries: Tales from a Not-So-Secret Crush Catastrophe" (Aladdin).
