Born and raised in Eau Claire, Sarah Godlewski is a fifth-generation Wisconsinite, daughter of two public school teachers, and product of a proud union family. She waited tables to help pay her way through college before going to work with the Pentagon, and later, starting a social impact investment firm with her husband which invests in small businesses.
In 2018, Sarah stood up to Scott Walker’s power grab to save the State Treasurer’s office. Then, she decided to run for the office and won, flipping nine Trump counties. As Treasurer, she ended a GOP gag order on climate change and ensured the state invested millions in public schools, broadband expansion, renewable energy projects, and more.
Now, she’s taking on Ron Johnson because Wisconsinites need common sense, not conspiracy theories, in the United States Senate.
