As per the latest updates, the massive faceoff is going on after confirmation from the Union Urban Development Minister, Hardeep Singh Puri, on settlements for Rohingyas. On Wednesday, the Home Ministry came up with a clarification that there have been no such directions to provide flats to any illegal Rohingyas in the national capital. The Home Minister's Office posted on Twitter and clarified that the Delhi government proposed to shift Rohingyas to a new location, but the MHA has directed the Delhi government to ensure that illegal Rohingyas will continue at the same location as the MHA has already taken the matter of the deportation.
