Hearing the petition on interest waiver during the loan moratorium period, the Supreme Court pulled up the Centre asking that they can't run away from their responsibilty after allowing a moratorium on loans by saying that the matter is between banks and the customers, ET NOW reported.

The apex court, while listing the matter for first week of August, has directed the government and the RBI to review the matter. It has also asked the Indian Banks Association to see if new guidelines can be brought in force.
