Each year, Cardinal Tobin joyfully celebrates Mass at the Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Newark to pay tribute to couples who are celebrating milestone years, as well as other couples who value the Sacrament of Matrimony.
Marriage is a vital structure and institution in our society. These Anniversary Masses are a way in which the Church can continue to honor and uphold these sacramental unions, and, at the same time, the celebrating couples can be re-energized in their marriages.
