This video illustrates the viability of growing olives in the mild winter, temperate climate of the Pacific Northwest. Selecting early to mid-season ripening varieties, and growing the plant against a sunny south or west wall or alternatively on favourable warm wind sheltered sites is key to consistent and heavy production.
