Ukraine beloved Ukraine
All my prayers for Ukraine
In this special compilation for Ukraine, I chose 4 videos.
The first ""Пливе кача по Тисині" (Duckling floats on Tisyna)
This is an old Ukrainian folk song entitled, "The Duckling Swims." Apparently, for generations of Ukriainians, it has been a song warning of the risks of warfare. It was used as the music for the ceremonial parading through the streets of Kiev, Ukraine, in 2014 for the "the Day of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes". It sadly remembered the 100 Ukrainian activists/protesters killed that year in the Ukraine at a protest. The issues were that the Russians transgressed the borders of the Ukraine where there has long been disputed border claims by both countries.

Tina Karol, the blonde coach who stood first, stood to honor Inna's lovely version of "The Duckling Swims" in remembrance of the Maidan 100. The other coaches followed suit when they realized why she had stood. As did the audience. A very moving moment. It was actually at the end of the audition process. She pressed her buzzer at the end of the song because she still needed one more singer for her team. If you have seen the full audition she speaks lovely words of praise and thankfulness to Inna for giving them that beautiful moment. The other judges offer words of praise also. The other judges had full teams so they couldn't choose Inna.
The second, "1944", by Ukrainian singer Jamala, superbly performed here by Elina Ivashchenko.
The third, "Не твоя війна", from the ukrainian band Океан Ельзи.
Here performed by Daneliya Tuleshova ... speechless
and the fourth, "Україна - це ти", by Tina Karol and members of The Voice Kids. An anthem to Ukraine.
Hope you like it!!!
