In this video, I will show you how to download chinese tiktok, 抖音, on your mobile phone via google playstore.

Douyin Download Instructions

The fastest but unsafe way is to go on google search and type in “douyin apk download”. This will take you to 3rd party websites to download it. Not recommended as it may contain viruses.

The safer way is to go to google playstore. Search for “baidu” app and download it. This is the chinese equivalent of google search.

Install the app and wait for the download to complete.

Once downloaded, open the baidu app. Click on the “Agree” button, which is the default option. Don’t allow phone calls or notifications for this app.

Now go on the search bar up top and type in “tencent app store ying yong bao”, which is the chinese mega app store. I will leave the search term in the video description below if you need the chinese words.

Tap on the first option, which will take you to the tencent app store download page. Click on the download button at the bottom.

Allow access to baidu app, then wait for the download to complete. Also allow baidu app to install unknown apps.

This will let you install the tencent app. Once that is complete, you can now go into the tencent app store. Agree to their terms of service, which is the default option.

Close out any app offers and then you want to search for “douyin” at the search bar up top.

Tap on the first option, which is the official douyin app. Go ahead and tap the blue button below and download it. Wait for the download to finish. Upon completion, tap on the blue button again to install the app.

You also need to give the tencent app access to install unknown apps.

Now wait for the douyin app to finish downloading. You can open the app after it is done and you will have access to the chinese tik tok douyin. Now enjoy the app!
