Transcript:
- We are just all human beings on the same planet. That is the initial connection between all of us.
- The big problems: poverty, hunger, environmental disasters, climate change, can only be solved together
- What is certain is that part of the world is doing badly.
- We have disparities between the rich and the poor, and different levels of education and employment. But there is hope.
- I worry about the migrant population. I do work for a children’s association where there are migrant children. What will become of them when they are 19, 20, 25?
- We have fought for so many rights but if we are not careful we will go back in a heartbeat.
- Today I have a lot of empathy, I have children and I wonder what kind of society we are going to leave to our children, to future generations.
- What I tell my children is above all education. I tell them that I do not have a financial legacy to give them but I can ensure their education and that will be a universal international passport for them.
- My dream to met my family again. And to be with them while I start establishing my own family.
- What makes me happy is other people that are happy, my family, Legos, my friends.
- I love dancing because dance is joy. When someone gets up to dance, it means they are feeling happy.
- I hope to see my country in peace, no security problems, with no poverty, with everyone having access to their basic rights.
- Stability, security, trust, tolerance. The economic sense is not very important, what counts most is feeling good.
- Today speech is free because of the internet. No matter where you come from, you can create something. You can create an app, a game, a new media and make your voice heard and that’s beautiful.
- I used to think that I was the only little black girl with a disability. There are thousands and thousands who are online, who also grew up thinking the same thing, who can now connect with one another because of technology and that is incredible.
- It is in the moments that we face problems, challenges, that we turn more towards other people and we appreciate the value of the people around us.
- We ask ourselves questions. If we all want to work towards the same goal and if some begin to give up, will we get there?
- It is when countries work together that ultimately citizens can work together and build something with much greater impact because today everyone is interconnected.
- I think there must be a sense of community among countries, where they reserve and dedicate part of their time and efforts for a common good.
- I’d tell world leaders to do better. Do better for your own citizens. Do better for other citizens. Just think of other people before you think of yourself.
- What changed in me since I arrived from Guatemala to France is my tolerance, my patience, my view of others, my understanding and ability to enjoy life’s moments.
